BGJ Seminar Day 2018 with Michelle Billies and Sissy Lykou

Tickets to this year British Gestalt Journal Seminar Day on 24th November 2018 are now on sale at bgj.eventbrite.com.

This year Michelle Billies, an assistant professor and Gestalt therapist from New York will explore the theme of racism and Gestalt therapy asking an important question about anti-Black oppression and our practice. In the second part of the day, Sissy Lykou, a Dance and Movement Therapist will explore the vulnerability of differences in our bodies using movement. Towards the end of the day, Michelle and Sissy will answer our questions and discuss the links between their presentations.

As always, a healthy gluten-free meal will provide the nutrients for this intellectual and emotional stimulation, and if that does not keep you going, we will also have a number of cakes baked by our community members.

Early bird fees are available until the end of August. Students are welcome half price, and we have four free entries for student volunteers who would like to help on the day or before.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
