Overview

I offer psychological consultation and psychotherapy at the Manchester Gestalt Centre where I have worked since September 2014. My spoken languages are Italian and English.
As a Gestalt Psychotherapist I have experience working with individuals from age 18+ who are experiencing various psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, mood swings, relational problems, bereavement, etc.
As a Clinical Psychologist I am specialized in Psychology of Ageing. I have worked with elderly in need of care in various settings (
nursing home, day centre, and in their homes) giving psychological support to their carers too. I have also been teaching a meta-cognitive memory programme to adults and healthy elderly. I am currently working as Assistant Clinical Psychologist at the Oldham Memory Assessment and Treatment Service, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. My role mainly comprises the administration of neuropsychological and psychological tests, the delivery of psychological support in one-to-one and group settings, and involvement in research projects. These services are offered to people experiencing memory and/or cognitive difficulties that are frequently related to dementia and other conditions. In order to obtain the Statement of Equivalence through the Health and Care Professions Council, I have completed an adaptation period with the Adult Learning Disabilities Service and with the Department of Clinical Psychology (secondary care service).
