Overview

Counselling and Gestalt Psychotherapy in south Bristol

I am an accredited Counsellor and Gestalt Psychotherapist based in south Bristol.            I consider people are born with the capacity to lead fulfilling lives but that events and processes affect this potential.  In Gestalt we work with increasing awareness and developing choices so that people can decide for themselves what changes or decisions they want- or whether to remain with the status quo. In this way we work with patterns and unfinished business so people can find what they need.  I often describe this as ‘expanding our repertoire‘  so we have more choices about what we do in response to the issues in our lives.

I work with a number of issues such as:  loss or bereavement; anxiety; low mood; low self confidence; relationship issues; childhood history; health issues and more. Often issues can be interlinked – part of our work is to unravel how your present life is being affected and make sure we work at the pace you need.

How to make Contact.

You can e-mail me to make initial enquiries or to arrange a telephone call to talk a little about what you want.

You can call direct or by arrangement to clarify the reasons you are seeking therapy and check my availability.

The first session is introductory and low cost (£15) so that you say more about what you want to work on and you can clarify how we might work on the issues. You then decide whether to continue or have more time to think about your choices.
