“You’re something already. Become what you are.”
I have completed my training as a Gestalt Psychotherapist and am now working towards accreditation with the UKCP, which I hope to acquire this year.
This is in addition to my honours degree in Integrative Counselling for which I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
My practice is based in Howden in East Yorkshire, just 2 minutes away from J37 of the M62, and in York city centre at St Bedes Pastoral Centre.
I also see clients in Beverley, Driffield and Hull.
For those clients who are to far away to have a face-to-face meeting I also see clients via Skype, which is an extremely effective way of working together and has been a thriving part of my practice for several years now.
How we would work together
The way I work with clients is to listen to what they are telling me not only with the content of their speech, but also in the other subtler ways that people communicate with one another. Listening to my clients on all channels as it were.
This makes for a very very healing experience when clients know that they are really being heard and understood.
