Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 5th June 2016 from 2pm to 3.30pm, as part of our Community Day at the The Study Society, Colet House. Voting for Constitutional Amendments

If you wish to record a vote for the constitutional amendments item on the agenda please email the UKAGP Secretary, Adam Smith at [email protected] by 21st May 2016.  Your vote will be counted at the AGM by the secretary of the UKAGP.

Nominations for Committee Membership and Vacancies

Four members of the Organising Committee (OC) will complete their first three year term this summer, and will therefore be standing down at the Annual General Meeting at Colet House on Sunday June 5th 2016.

The posts they hold are Finance Officer (Ruth Nightingale), Publicity (James Bailey) and two Training Engagement representatives (Dawn Gwilt and Helen Thomas).  All four posts are therefore open to the membership to stand for election, and at the same time, three members, James, Ruth and Helen, will be standing for re-election.  Ruth however, is only looking to stay for up to one more year, and therefore encourages anyone interested in the post of Finance Officer to stand too in order that they might work together in hand-over period.

Our Honorary Treasurer post is still unfilled. It sits outside of the committee and is open to current or retired finance professionals, or those with strong financial experience, who are interested in a small amount of voluntary work.  More details are available on our website. Please mention this post to anyone you know who might be interested.

Membership of the OC offers engagement with a supportive, creative and dynamic group of gestalt practitioners who are committed to supporting and developing the interests of the gestalt community in the UK and further afield.

We meet three to four times each calendar year, usually on a Saturday, sharing lunch and fun as well as having rich discussions, making decisions and putting into action the day-to-day management of the Association.  Please see the UKAGP Constitution for a detailed description of the role of the Committee.

Previous experience of committees and associations is not a requirement – the most valuable voices in committee meetings are often those asking “Why is…done like this?” Needless to say, all costs of attending meetings are covered by the association and the time spent on the committee can contribute to your CPD requirements.
