Working with Couples and Relationships – Advanced
6th – 8th July, 2018
6.30pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am – 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday
This two-and-a-half-day workshop is designed to enable psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists and coaches to deepen their understanding of working with couples and intimate personal relationships as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Who takes this course?
This workshop is primarily for psychotherapists and counsellors, clinical and counselling psychologists and coaches. No prior in-depth knowledge of Gestalt is required. It can be taken individually or, ideally, as a follow-on from our Introduction to Working with Couples and Relationships two-day workshop
About the course
When love hurts, when love heals; explorations in relational-situational interventions in couple and relationship therapy. The course covers phenomenological methods, field processes, systems-centred understandings plus supervised discussions of case examples brought by participants.
It’s a chance to engage in active explorations, including sitting in the roles of clients and therapists. The intention is for the group to learn from each other, developing their understanding of the deeper dynamics and to allow us to undertake systemic meaning making.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance for 15 hours of CPD plus some handouts and inspiration for further reading.
Contact The Gestalt Centre for further details and joining application.
