Group Supervision and Professional Development

Group Supervision and Professional Development.

Working better together.

Many people have expressed an interest in accessing an ongoing group for NON-clinical supervision, skills practice, personal and professional development.

What is on offer:

  • Supervision.

  • Skills practice.

  • Processes that can be offered to clients.

  • Recaps of pieces of training of the past, including:

A more in-depth look at the following:

  • Anxiety and the “I don’t know client”.

  • Confidence retrieval (some call this soul retrieval).

  • Working with aggression (in a safe way).

  • Overcoming Guilt and Shame.

  • Working with archetypes.

  • Chair work.

  • 2, 3, 4 or more chair work.

  • The Penny Model. The cause and solution to depression.

  • Working with the Internal Saboteur.

  • Working with anxiety and the internal Risk Manager.

  • Regressional work.

  • Gestalt theory and different approaches.

  • A new language to support and deepen a process.

  • Words that are unhelpful and are not to be used.

  • Trauma and how to overcome it.

  • Working with a sensation and limiting beliefs.

  • Couples work.

  • The body is in control.

  • Addictions and how one can work with them.

  • Grief work.

  • The glue to an unhappy life/relationship.

  • Anger Energy (how we can use it constructively or destructively).

And so…

The difficulty is identifying a suitable day and time for which people are available and numbers (some want a group of 3, others more). Some monthly and others 6 to 8 weeks. It's a logistical challenge.

There is no commitment until you are invited to commit (which will be sometime in 2025).

So, below are some options…

  • A group of 3 or 4 @ £ 65 - 50 each,

    4 or 5  @ £ 50 -40 each,

    5 or 6  @ £  40- 35 each.

  • Each session would be for 2 hours.

  • You would be with a commitment of 6 sessions (to be paid 24 hours before the start of each session).

  • After the six sessions, there can be a break and then a future commitment to another cycle (although group members might change, and days/times could be modified within a group decision).

The plan would be to meet every four to six weeks. Starting from the 1st of February (with Christmas soon upon us).

Suggested times and dates:

A Tuesday afternoon.  2 – 4 pm.

A Wednesday morning 10 – 12 noon.

A Saturday morning. 10-12 noon.

A Wednesday evening 7-9 pm.

The actual start dates may/will change and be firmed up as the groups form.

The focus will be on clients’ work (real or imaginary), and during our time together, people will be invited to take part in various processes (as individuals or as a group).

I suggest that all attendees share their contact details with other members so that they can pair up and practice some of the processes, interventions and language you might hear spoken.

If the above is of interest but the days or times don’t fit, let me know, and other options could be made available.

There is no commitment at this stage. You will be invited to commit once a group has formed within the same time slot.

Because this will be non-clinical supervision, you will need a clinical supervisor in place to meet your awarding bodies’ requirements.

Life happens, and if you are unable to attend (for whatever reason). I can offer a half-hour (1 to 1) meeting per cycle without charge.

Attached is a form for you to complete and send in, to charidge@gmail.com

I will collate the data and keep you informed of when enough people have elected to form a group (for the same day/time and size of the group. You can select as many options as you choose.
