Four weekly group meetings in September:
The 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th of September. 10.00 - 12.00 UK Time.
It is limited to twelve places, so do book early to avoid disappointment.
While I have reduced the human experience to the four core emotions and made it more accessible, it does take time and practice to develop the skills required to support people in sharing thier intimacy (In–To–Me –See) and vulnerability. This is a place where you can practice and hone your skills.
Once we start, only the same people will be in attendance to support building a safe enough container.
For a total of eight hours, the fee will be £120.00.
After the first meeting, for the second, third, and fourth, I will send a Zoom invite to all attendees about twenty minutes before each start time.
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, which you can add to your CPD.
It will be open to all who wish to attend. Trainees, Qualified counsellors/therapists, and possibly different modalities, such as coaching or hypnotherapy. Adding to a rich and varied mix.
Once the four weeks have passed, people can join another group in the future, or all can commit to another cycle and retain the same group (dates and times to be agreed upon within the group).
Various tools, resources, and processes will be offered to support clients with whatever emotional needs they may seek help with.
The group will decide what the sessions might look like (asking for what is wanted), which could include:
Skills practice:
An opportunity to facilitate another member of the group through a process.
Breakout rooms to practice speaking some of the interventions and invitations to a peer.
Supervision:
This will be available if someone wishes to explore a particular aspect of their work and clients’ process.
Personal work:
Individual work will be available to support anyone with a particular presenting issue.
Group process:
There could be some rupture or dynamics within the group (because we all project on each other), which could be explored. A bit like Personal Development (PD), that you may have experienced within your training).
Chair/projection work:
We undoubtedly will be exploring chair and projection work at some point.
Working with objects.
Working with dreams.
Experiential processes as individuals or as a group:
Such as anger, guilt, and reclaiming one's confidence/self-esteem.
Question time:
An opportunity to ask any question or revisit any topic that I may have covered, or you are interested in.
Scripts and power points:
Some processes or ways of working require a particular type of language, and for some processes, I will be able to provide a script that you can use and practice with (hopefully during these trainings.
I have some handouts, and I will send them to all attendees if applicable to a session.
Please remember, that what is offered, is not so much what to do but HOW you could do it and it is down to your calabration and assessment of your client to determin what might be helpfull.
This will be for a group of up to 12 people (if fewer than six register, the event may be rescheduled/pushed back or cancelled (which would trigger a refund (less the Eventbrite fee).
There is a bursary available for up to two people. Message me via charidge@gmail.com if you would like to apply. Do this before booking the course.
If you are not able to attend a scheduled session for whatever reason, there will be no refund or partial refund. However, you might be able to attend another of my 2hr webinars in the future (subject to your request and our agreement) with a concessional fee or for free.
Some recent feedback:
It was fantastic. I can't wait to watch it all again on the recording. I will certainly be recommending to my supervisees. I have been working as a therapist for over 16 years and attended the event as a refresher for my CPD needs, I wasn't expecting what I gained from it, so how wrong I was! Thank you :) I have learned so much today in such an easy to understand way (I to have dyslexia). I have seen the benefits and will be passing this on to my clients and supervisees, everyone is a winner, thanks Stefan. I thought it was one of the best short learning events I have attended in the past year. I will certainly be buying Stefan's book and I will be seeking him out from now on. T. B.
